Classic Arts Productions Ltd was founded in 1993, and quickly became one of the UK’s leading independent production companies specialising in classical music and the arts.

Our radio output includes prominent programmes for the BBC, notably the award-winning 'celebrity choice' series Private Passions, and three successive daily strands, CD Masters, Classical Collection, and currently Essential Classics, all on Radio 3.

We also offer a wealth of experience in producing events from all over the UK. From recitals to symphony concerts, chamber concerts to operas, we’ve been responsible for many recordings, including live radio broadcasts. We are able to provide state-of-the-art digital recording facilities and work exclusively with highly experienced sound engineers.

Our output also includes podcasts for clients such as the ABRSM. From April 2009 to October 2011 we issued our own weekly series of podcasts focusing on classic recordings, Archive Classics.
