Hello and welcome to our new Archive Classics forums. We hope they will prove to be informative and entertaining in equal measure. To start with we have set up three forums - Weekly Podcasts, General Music and Technical Forum, and Site Feedback and Support.

In this forum – Site Feedback and Support – we are simply looking for comments about the Archive Classics website. Do let us know what you think, whether good or bad! Also, if you have any particular technical problems with the website, this is the place to post your comments.

The FRITZ KREISLER selection "The Old Refrain" accompanied by Michael Raucheisen
was recorded for Electrola in Berlin, Germany, in session 15, matrix BLR- 6063, take 3,
on the 13th of February, 1930.      It was originally issued on  HMV DA 1138.
         The complete title of the work is: "Du alter Stefansturm"
          from Der Liebe Augustin "The Old Refrain".
This information was taken from the "Fritz Kreisler Discography" {by Eric Wen} on page 398 of AMY BIANCOLLI's  Fritz Kreisler biography, as published by Amadeus Press in 1998 under the title:
"LOVE'S SORROW, LOVE'S JOY"  [ISBN1-57467-037-9]
