Thanks for including a piece performed by Sergiu Celibidache in Podcast 34, a stunning performance! I hope there will be more to come!

Two small technicalities: the CD that recording is from was released in 2001 (it's not "new box set") and secondly, the name isn't properly pronounced by Stephen Johnson, it should sound like "Celibidaake" (and not "Celibidadshe").

Thanks for this interesting podcast!

Thanks for the message Gromit and glad you are enjoying the podcasts. We're certainly enjoying putting them together each week.

With regards to the pronunciation of Celibidache's name, I have heard it pronounced both ways, but a quick scout around online does indeed seem to verify that 'Celibidake' is the correct form. I will pass this onto Stephen when we are next in touch.

As to the 'new box set', it was new to us a few weeks ago which explains Stephen's enthusiasm, even if technically the box set has been available for some time! However we have taken delivery of some exciting new releases from Music and Arts and West Hill Radio Archives and doubtless we will include a few goodies from these over the coming months.

Best wishes,

Alex
